[November 11, 2011]  WASHINGTON (AP) -- The attorney who represents one of the women who filed a sexual harassment complaint against GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain says plans for a joint news conference of Cain's accusers have been shelved.

Joel Bennett says that despite the "diligent efforts" of his client, Karen Kraushaar, she has been unable to reach the other two women who allegedly received unwelcomed advances from Cain while he headed the National Restaurant Association. He said that Kraushaar would not hold the news conference without the participation of the other women.

Cain is the former chief executive of Godfather's Pizza who has shot to the top of the field seeking the Republican presidential nomination. He has steadfastly denied the incidents occurred.
