NOVEMBER 7

FOOTBALL HELMET CHIN STRAPS 

Under Armour Inc. is recalling UA Defender Chin Straps sold nationwide from January 2008 to September 2011. The metal snap that connects the chin strap to the helmet has sharp edges, posing a laceration hazard. 

This recall involves all UA Defender Chin Straps with "Under Armour" printed on it. The chin straps have metal clasps that tighten the straps and attach them to the helmet. 

Consumers should contact Under Armour at (888) 823-0343 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, or visit www.underarmour.com for a free replacement chin strap. More info at www.recalls.org.

NOVEMBER 10

ARCTIC CAT ATVS 

Arctic Cat Inc. is recalling Arctic Cat All-Terrain Vehicles sold nationwide since February 2011. The ATV's steering tie-rod can bend, causing loss of control which poses a crash hazard. 

The recall includes all 2011 Arctic Cat XC 450 ATVs and some 2012 Arctic Cat XC 450 ATVs. Recalled 2012 model year ATVs can be identified by the last six numerals of the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) in the following ranges: 6V0101 through 6V0178 and 700101 through 700230. The VIN is located on the lower front frame tube below the front bumper. 

Consumers should contact their local Arctic Cat ATV dealer to schedule a free repair.

WOLFGANG PUCK GRIDDLES 

W.P. Appliances Inc. is recalling Wolfgang Puck Electric Reversible Tri-Grill/Griddles sold exclusively by HSN nationwide from April 2011 to May 2011. A defect in the electrical wiring of the electric grills/griddles can pose a risk of overheating, melting and an electrical shock hazard. 

This recall includes Wolfgang Puck brand combination electric grills/griddles with dual thermostatic controls and model number BRTGG010. The model number is located on an ETL/Intertek foil sticker label affixed to the bottom of the unit. The stainless steel grills/griddles have "Wolfgang Puck Bistro Collection" stamped on the front of the unit next to the control dials. 

Consumers should contact W.P. Appliances at (855) 666-0478 anytime, or visit www.brtgg010-recall.com for instructions on returning the grills/griddles for a full refund. More info at www.recalls.org

CLIMBING CAM UNITS 

Sierra Trading Post is recalling Joss rock climbing cams sold at Sierra Trading Post nationwide from August 2003 to March 2006. The recalled cams can fail unexpectedly after being set, posing a fall hazard. 

The Joss Cam is a mechanical device placed in the crack of a rock to support a climber's weight. The "Cassin" logo is also printed on a tag attached to the sling. The Sierra Trading Post item numbers associated with this recall are #69277 and #69278. These numbers can be found on the original packaging label or order invoice. 

Consumers should return the item to Sierra Trading Post for a full refund including shipping.
