[November 16, 2011]  Beginning Thursday, repair work will begin on two box culverts in Logan County. The structures are on 1250th Street, one-half mile east of Middletown, and 1400th Street, one-half mile west of Rocky Ford. Both locations will remain open to traffic.

The work is expected to take one month to complete.

Repairs are needed due to erosion undermining the structures. Additional information about the project can be obtained by contacting the Logan County Highway Department.

The highway department appreciates the cooperation and patience of the public during the construction season as the department continues to improve the safety of roads and bridges.
