[November 21, 2011 Sunday evening the congregation at First Baptist Church in Lincoln unveiled the restoration of a painting given to the church in 1910 by Samuel Hoblit. The painting is a reproduction of a masterpiece by Gerrit Van Honthorst which hangs in the Galleria Degli Uffize in Florence, Italy.

After decades of hanging in the church, a professional restoration was done to bring back the original colors of the painting. After the ceremony, the congregation gathered for a Thanksgiving meal.
