[November 22, 2011]  The Lincoln Christian University men's basketball team lost a tight game Saturday to Great Lakes Christian College, 91-84. The LCU Red Lions went into the half with a 42-39 lead but were unable to maintain it during the second half.

Junior Brady Cremeens led the Red Lions with 19 points and nine assists, while seniors Chris Lawson and Mark Hamm each chipped in with 17 points.

LCU shot a season-low 24 percent from the 3-point line, although 3-pointers have been the Red Lions' strength for the last couple of years.

Sophomore Gabe Cripe returned to the court from a lower back injury that put him out the first three games of the season. The Red Lions are hopeful he will bring more depth offensively, as last year he proved to be an asset from beyond the arc.

LCU (1-3) will be back in action tonight (Tuesday), when they host St. Louis College of Pharmacy at 7.
