The game
was a heated contest, with both teams getting quality
chances in the first half, but neither could capitalize, and at half
the score was 0-0. At the beginning of the second half, Lincoln
found the first and game-winning goal in the third minute of the
half, when Ruben Gaytan intercepted a pass and bent the ball around
the keeper for an unassisted goal. Lincoln would finalize the match
with a second goal with a little over 20 minutes left, when Adrien
Sathler beat a player on the outside and crossed a ball back to the
penalty spot, where Edwin Moalosi was wide open and finished the
ball past the keeper.
This brings the Lynx to an overall record of 11-3.
LC’s next game is played in South Holland on Monday versus 11-4
South Suburban.
