Atlanta
has a bowling alley.
The
Red Wing Bowl owners, Jason Hasely and Jack Renfrow, cut
the ribbon on their new business. It has been several years
since Atlanta has had a bowling alley, and everyone is invited to
make the short drive and enjoy the new Red Wing Bowl.

major road accidents in China killed at least 56 people on the last day of a

Fans of
"The Simpsons" can breathe a "d'oh!" of relief: The animated series
was renewed Friday for two more seasons.
The animated series about the Simpson family, including dad Homer
and his familiar "D'oh!" is TV's longest-running scripted nighttime
series. In its announcement, the network gave Homer a celebratory
quote: "Woo hoo! I outlasted Andy Rooney!"
Breastfeeding Myth: It is
normal for breastfeeding to hurt. Not true! Though some
tenderness during the first few days is relatively
common, this should be a temporary situation which lasts
only a few days and should never be so bad that the
mother dreads nursing.

St. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Chris Carpenter
throws a pitch during the second inning of baseball's Game 5 of the
National League division series with the Philadelphia Phillies on
Friday in Philadelphia. Carpenter pitched a complete
game shutout to help the Cards win and go on to play for the
National League title.
