from the Monday night Weight Watchers club in Lincoln were part of
a
national "Lose for Good" challenge. For every pound lost,
members would
bring food items that represented their weight loss, and those
items were
donated to
the food pantry.

Nathaniel Donaker, 4,
eats Kellogg's Frosted Flakes cereal at his home in Palo Alto,
Calif., on April 28. Tony the Tiger and Toucan Sam can
rest easy. Government officials fine-tuning guidelines for marketing
food to children say they won't push the food industry to get rid of
colorful cartoon characters on cereal boxes anytime soon. The food
industry, backed by House Republicans, who are having a hearing on
the issue Wednesday, has aggressively lobbied against
the voluntary guidelines, saying they are too broad and would limit
marketing of almost all of the nation's favorite foods, including

Breastfeeding Myth: It is
normal for breastfeeding to hurt. Not true! Though some
tenderness during the first few days is relatively
common, this should be a temporary situation which lasts
only a few days and should never be so bad that the
mother dreads nursing.
