[October 11, 2011]  The annual haunted house attraction operated by the Lincoln Jaycees is back again this October. It is known for having the longest, darkest maze in central Illinois, so be prepared to get scared! New this year are special "maze only" nights along with the full haunt shows.

The haunted house is located at 325 S. Chicago St. Full haunt nights are Oct. 14, 15, 21, 22, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31. Maze-only nights are Oct. 16, 17, 20, 23 and 24. Hours of operation are 7-11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, 7-9 p.m. Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays.

The regular admission price is $7 on full haunt nights and $5 on maze-only nights. Receive $1 off regular admission with a nonperishable food pantry donation or $2 off with military, police, or fire ID.

There will be two special kids’ matinees, Oct. 16 and 23, from 6 to 7 p.m. Special admission is $2. Come for a friendly, lights-on tour.
