Wednesday evening the
chapel-auditorium on the campus of Lincoln Christian
University was filled to near capacity with Logan
Correctional Center supporters at the COGFA hearing.
Even before panel members arrived at the chapel, the message they
were going to hear was made quite clear, as "Save Logan" signs were
strategically placed all along the route they would take coming from
Springfield to the chapel.
Once they arrived, they heard the message over and over again from a
wide variety of people including senators, representatives, local
elected officials and many more.
They also saw a sea of red in the Earl C Hargrove Chapel, as
supporters had donned their "Save Logan" T-shirts as a show of solidarity.
