Matt Wrage visits Pioneer Hi-Bred headquarters, learns about latest innovations

[September 01, 2011]  DES MOINES, Iowa -- Matt Wrage, a new Pioneer sales professional from Hartsburg, Ill., attended a two-day meeting at Pioneer Hi-Bred’s headquarters in Johnston, Iowa. The Aug. 2-3 event was the culmination of the initial training and orientation to Pioneer for Wrage and included laboratory and plot tours that showcased the newest research innovations and experimental trials. Presentations by Pioneer scientists and senior leadership provided further insight into research and growth plans.

"An essential element of our goal to place the right Pioneer brand product on the right acre is the skill and knowledge of our Pioneer sales representatives," said Judd O’Connor, Pioneer vice president for sales in the U.S. region. He said that the activities at the meeting -- "coupled with the extensive training conducted by our local field sales staff -- help ensure that Matt Wrage provides the products and services to best meet customers’ needs."
