Red Lions soccer

[September 02, 2011]  The Red Lions women's soccer team of Lincoln Christian University won their opening game of the season and the first game for new head coach Peter Nevi as they defeated NCAA Division III MacMurray College 2-0 Thursday afternoon.

The LCU scoring was done by Brenda Tate and Elizabeth Langley. Ashlon Rose was the goalkeeper who recorded the shutout.

The Red Lions will play Saturday at Maranatha Baptist Bible College.

The Red Lions men's soccer team dropped their first game of the season 7-0 to MacMurray.

The men will play at home Saturday against Kuyper College.
