The Lincoln Theater 4 announces a
one-week, limited engagement screening of the MGM classic "Gone With
the Wind," winner of 10 Academy Awards, including best picture.

The movie will be shown at the downtown theater Sept. 16-22 at 2 and
7 p.m. daily. "Our theater has not yet converted to digital
projectors. We had to request special permission from Warner
Brothers to have their only remaining 35 mm film copy released from
their vaults," said theater owner David Lanterman. "We are very
excited to bring this classic back to the big screen. Soon all
movies will be released in digital format only, so really you will
be experiencing the end of an era as film fades away into history."
The Lincoln Theater 4 is at 215 S. Kickapoo St., just off the
courthouse square.
Ticket price will be $5 for all shows.
