Mount Pulaski holds 'Remembrance' gathering

Mount Pulaski had a 9/11 "Remembrance Gathering" under a tent on the south side of square at 2 p.m. Sunday. All five Mount Pulaski churches -- Christian Church, St. John's Lutheran, St. Thomas Aquinas, United Methodist and Zion Lutheran -- their parishioners and pastors participated.

Mount Pulaski Orchestra and Choir perform under the direction of Claus Tanner, former longtime Mount Pulaski K-12 choir and band instructor.

Mount Pulaski American Legion Ryman-Fuiten Post 447 with Mount Pulaski Boy Scout Troop 122 salute the American flag during the Pledge of Allegiance.

 

Mount Pulaski Zion Lutheran School Choir is under the direction of Mrs. Julie Cooper.
