Dolan
Dalpoas, president and chief executive officer at Abraham
Lincoln Memorial Hospital, hands over the deed for a section of
property at the old hospital site on Eighth Street to Leland Semple, St. John United Church of Christ
council president. The
land donation is about a half-acre and includes a parking area
and land that the church’s garage sits on. In 1952, the church
donated the parcel to help build the hospital that stood next to
the church for more than a half-century.
