[September 27, 2011]  CARLINVILLE -- The Lincoln College women's soccer team (2-5) defeated Blackburn College's JV team 2-1 in Carlinville. The Lynx allowed Blackburn to score early but battled back with two second-half goals by Robin Damron.

"I was very pleased with the way the ladies battled for a full 90 minutes today," said Lincoln coach Amber Angermeier. "After letting in an early goal in the first half, the ladies picked up the intensity and dominated play in the second half. We kept up the attack and were able to score two second-half goals to take the win."
