[April 03, 2012]  LINCOLN -- Lillie Leontine Hacker, 92, of Lincoln, died Monday, April 2, 2012, at 4:38 p.m. at Christian Village.

LINCOLN-Lillie Leontine Hacker, 92, of Lincoln, IL passed away at Christian Village on Monday, April 2, 2012 at 4:38 p.m.

Lillie was born on July 6, 1919 in Duplissis, Louisiana the daughter of Arthur Roscoe and Ida Elizabeth Daigle Edmonston.  She married Marvin Sylvester Hacker on July 3, 1939 in Waverly, Texas. He preceded her in death Jan. 8, 2010.

Lillie is also survived by one son: Marvin Warren (Betty Alice) Hacker of Washington State; one daughter: Maureen Janice “Marty” (Herman) Wibben of Emden, IL; one brother: Murphy  Edmonston of Gonzales, LA; two sisters: Agnes Evans of Chicago, IL; Ida Elizabeth Roddy of Gonzales, LA;  six precious grandchildren: Gregory (Dawn) Wibben; Cale (Sarah) Wibben; Lori (Cass) Benner; Robbyn (David) Adlesman; Marvin (Cheri) Hacker; Clinton (Rebecca) Hacker and fifteen great grandchildren.

Funeral Director

Mrs. Hacker was a homemaker and a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church.  Lillie was an excellent seamstress and loved needle work; she had a passion for gardening, flowers, fishing and playing bridge.  She lived in Houston, TX, Glen Ellyn, IL and Brazoria, TX prior to moving to Lincoln.

Services for Mrs. Hacker will be Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 12:00 noon at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln with Rev. Simon Taabu officiating.  Visitation will be from 10:00-12:00 prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hartsburg Union Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Friends of The River- San Bernard, Brazoria, TX.
