Illinois country grain prices were mixed on Wednesday afternoon,
with wheat and corn lower and soybeans higher. Soybean futures
were supported by both a projected small South American crop and
lower acres being planted in the US as of last week's ISDA
acreage report estimate.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids 1 to 4 cents lower at 6.37-6.47. Soybean bids
traded 1 to 56
cents higher at 13.89-13.98.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were mixed at 6.49-6.64. Soybean bids were 2 to 6 cents
higher at
13.96-14.09.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 1 to 3
cents higher at 6.53-6.77. Soybean bids were 1 to 4 cents higher
at 14.04-14.20.
Wheat bids were 18 to 20 cents lower at 6.20-6.39.
