LINCOLN -- Arthur E. "Pete" Martin, 83,
of Lincoln, died Thursday, April 5, 2012, at 10:33 a.m. at The
Christian Village.

Lincoln – Mr. Arthur E. "Pete" Martin, of Lincoln,
83, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2012, at 10:33
a.m. at The Christian Village in Lincoln.
Funeral services for Mr. Martin will be held on
Saturday, April 7, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Quiram-Peasley
Funeral Home in Atlanta. Pastor John Horner will
officiate.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00
p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
Burial will be in Atlanta Cemetery.
Surviving Mr. Martin are his children: Scott (Diane)
Martin of Atlanta and Doug (Yolanda) Martin of
California, 13 grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren.

Pete was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Martin was born on December 10, 1928, in Lincoln, the son of Willard
Mapes Martin. Pete was a graduate of Lincoln Community High School. He
served our country in the United States Navy in Korea. He had worked at
PPG Glass Works in Lincoln and attended Park Meadows Baptist Church.
