Patchy frost tonight

Send a link to a friend

[April 05, 2012]  A few showers will linger today across the southern part of the area, but they will diminish this afternoon and come to an end or move south out of the area by this evening.

Much colder air arriving on chilly northeast winds will cause possible frost or freezing conditions. The freeze watch for later tonight will continue for the northern third of the area counties, with patchy frost possible for most of the remainder of the area counties. Low temperatures will drop to around freezing in the north, with mid-30s to the south. Sensitive outdoor vegetation may be damaged by the freezing conditions tonight.
