APRIL 2

TOY TRUCK GIFTS 

Happy Shirts is recalling toy truck gifts with boy's t-shirts sold exclusively at Kohl's stores nationwide from February 2012 to March 2012. Connections in the toy trucks battery compartment can smolder or catch the trucks on fire, posing a fire and burn hazard. 

This recall involves Big Movers Super Car toy trucks that were gifts with the purchase of Big Movers t-shirts. The 4-inch long blue trucks have oversized tires and a flashing light on top and were sold with a yellow, red and blue logo on the hood. 

Consumers should contact Happy Shirts at (855) 354-2779 between noon and 8 p.m. PT (9 a.m. to 5 p.m. HT) Monday through Friday or visit www.happyshirts.com for instructions on returning the truck for a refund. More info at www.recalls.org.

APRIL 4

GRASS TRIMMERS 

Husqvarna is recalling Grass and Hedge Trimmers sold nationwide from May 2011 to January 2012. Fuel can leak from the rubber spacer holding the fuel lines in the fuel tank, posing a fire hazard. 

This recall involves the Husqvarna Grass Trimmer Model 122C with serial numbers that range from 2011 17 00001 to 2011 52 99999. "Husqvarna" and the model number are written on top of the tool. The recalled Husqvarna Hedge Trimmers are Models 122HD60 and 122HD45 with serial numbers that range from 2011 17 00001 to 2011 52 99999. "Husqvarna" and the model number are written on top of the tool. 

Consumers should return the item to the place of purchase for a free repair.

APRIL 5

OFFICE DEPOT DESK CHAIRS           

Office Depot is recalling Office Depot® Brand Biella Leather Desk Chairs sold exclusively at Office Depot stores nationwide and in Canada from January 2002 to December 2008. The weld connecting the seat plate to the gas lift can fail, causing the chair to separate from the base. This poses a fall hazard. 

This recall involves Office Depot® brand leather desk chairs. The mid-back height leather chairs were sold in black and have SKU number 130548. "REG. No. PA-25498 (CN)" and "Made in China" are printed on a label located on the underside of the seat.

FOLDING CHAIRS 

West Elm is recalling Folding Chairs sold exclusively at West Elm stores nationwide and in Canada from September 2011 to January 2012. The chairs can collapse during normal use, posing a fall hazard. 

This recall involves West Elm solid wood and fully assembled folding chairs sold in white, red or chocolate. The chairs were sold individually and in sets of two and four. A sticker on the underside of the seat reads "West Elm." 

Consumers should contact West Elm at (855) 262-9744 between 7 a.m. and midnight ET daily, or visit www.westelm.com for instructions on returning the product for a full refund. More info at www.recalls.org

BICYCLES 

Public Bikes is recalling 2010 through 2012 Model Year Bicycles sold nationwide from April 2010 to January 2012. The pedals can crack and break, posing a fall hazard. 

This recall involves 18 models of women's and men's Public Bikes. "Public" or "Publicbikes.com" is printed on either the bicycle chain guard or the rear fender. Recalled badge numbers are 1-5843, 5845, 12560, 20743 and 20757. The "Apple" model, which has no badge, is also included. All bicycles with Wellgo pedals are included in this recall.

CHILD CARRIER SEATS 

Todson is recalling Topeak Babyseat™ II Bicycle Carrier Seats sold nationwide from January 2009 to April 2012. When the consumer lifts the grab bar to remove the child from the seat, the child's fingertips can be caught in the hinge mechanism, posing a laceration and fingertip amputation hazard. 

This recall involves Topeak Babyseat II bicycle carrier seats with model numbers TCS2100, TCS2101 and TCS2102. Model numbers are printed on the product's packaging.
