[April 09, 2012] BLOOMINGTON -- Brody E. Hageman,
14, of Bloomington, died Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at 11:48 a.m. at OSF
Saint Francis Medical Center Children's Hospital in Peoria.

Bloomington- Brody E. Hageman, 14, of Bloomington
passed away on April 4, 2012 at 11:48 a.m. at OSF
St. Francis Medical Center Children’s Hospital in
Peoria .
Funeral Services for Brody will be held on Tuesday,
April 10, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Assembly
of God Church in Normal.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00
p.m. on Monday, April 9, 2012 at the church.
Cremation rites will be accorded following the
services.
Quiram Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta is in charge
of arrangements.
Brody Everett Hageman was born in Normal, IL on
December 14, 1997, the son of Todd Eric and
Christine E. Schneider Hageman.
Surviving are his father: Todd (Heather) Hageman,
his mother: Christine (Wesley) Hageman/ Slough, his
siblings: Foster E. Hageman, Nathan E. Hageman,
Jonas E. Hageman, Kaeley N. Slough, Victoria C.
Slough, Cameron A. Hageman and Grant S. Hageman all
of Bloomington. His maternal grandmother: Ingrid
Bundschuh of North Carolina, paternal grandmother:
Shirley Hageman of Algonquin, paternal grandfather:
Robert Hageman of Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his maternal step
grandfather: Frank Bundschuh.

Brody attended Bloomington Junior High School where
he was a friend of many. He was a member of the Cross Country Team,
Trampoline Team and AMMA mixed martial arts. He attended St. Patrick
Church of Merna volunteering in the nursery and Vacation Bible School
programs. He also attended Eastview Christian Church. He spent a lot of
time with friends, enjoyed writing poetry, lyrics, listening to music
along with playing his guitar. He also enjoyed making short films with
friends and being active outdoors.
In lieu of flowers the family has established a memorial fund at US Bank
for a community memorial project to be built in Brody’s memory. |
