Saturday, children in the Mount Pulaski area were out in full force for the annual Easter egg hunt at Vonderlieth Living Center.

Divided by age groups, beginning with the youngest, the 2- to 3-year-olds, and working their way up to the oldest, the fourth- and fifth-grade level, children scrambled to scoop up plastic eggs filled with treats by the residents at Vonderlieth.

The annual event is sponsored by the Mount Pulaski Jaycees and Vonderlieth Living Center residents.
