Community Action is looking for a self-motivated ASSISTANT PUBLIC TRANSIT DIRECTOR to be responsible for the daily operations and oversight of the public transportation services.

 

Responsible for direct supervision of drivers and dispatchers, conduct site visits to providers, respond to complaints and issues, assist with reporting requirements and grant opportunities, assure IDOT compliance, oversee fleet maintenance.

 

Associate’s degree required, proficient in all Microsoft and web based applications. Valid Driver’s License and proof of vehicle insurance required.
