About 1,000 ladies gathered Wednesday for the 2012 Christian Woman's Conference at the Earl C Hargrove Chapel on the campus of Lincoln Christian University for a day of encouragement and renewal.

Dr. Keith Ray, president of Lincoln Christian University, started the day with a welcome and opening prayer.

Singer Kathy Troccoli and speaker Ellie Lofaro led the day with lots of
laughter and deep insights into God's word about faith, hope and love. Troccoli and Lofaro have co-authored a book entitled "Spaghetti for the Soul," their Italian spinoff of the "Soup for the Soul" devotional series.
