APRIL 18

GAS GRILLS 

One World Technologies is recalling STOK Gas Grills sold nationwide and in Canada from March 2011 to February 2012. The regulator on the grill can leak propane gas, which can ignite, posing fire and burn hazard. 

This recall involves STOK Island and STOK Quattro gas grills. "STOK" is written on the grill cover and a label on the bottom of the grill stand. The STOK Quattro gas grill is a rectangular, four-burner grill. "STOK" is printed on the grill's lid. The recalled grills have regulators on them with the model number "AZF" on the front and a date code between 1046 and 1143 on the back of the regulator.

AIR RIFLES 

Air Venturi is recalling Evanix Speed and Conquest Air Rifles sold nationwide from January 2012 to March 2012.The safety switch can be overcome by pulling the trigger with force, allowing the rifle to fire, resulting in a serious injury or death. 

This recall involves Evanix Speed .177, .22 and .25 caliber rifles and Evanix Conquest .177, .22 and .25 caliber rifles. The rifle is a pre-charged pneumatic air rifle powered by a compressed air cylinder.

BICYCLE BRAKE LEVERS 

Specialized Bicycle Components is recalling Bicycle Brake Levers sold nationwide from April 2010 to February 2012. The adjuster cap and brake cable can slide out of position and make the brakes non-operational. 

The recalled products are Tektro TL-83 brake levers. TL-83 levers are designed exclusively for use with aerodynamic handlebars (aerobars) sold as original equipment on 2010 and 2011 S-Works Shiv bicycle frame modules and 2012 S-Works Shiv TT bicycle frame modules. 

Consumers should return the levers or modules to authorized Specialized Bicycle Components retailers for free replacement brake levers.

APRIL 19

BATTERY CHARGERS 

Sakar International is recalling Digital Concepts Compact Travel Charger sold nationwide from January 2011 to February 2012. The plastic holding the screws can break, causing the screws to come loose and the casing to separate. This can expose energized components, exposing users to electrocution or electric shock. 

The charger holds two AA or AAA batteries, is silver colored and has a sticker on the top which says "Digital Concepts" and "Compact Travel Charger". This recall involves item numbers CH-1600S and CH-1600-RS which are identified with the date code MID#: 0801110. Both numbers can be found on the white label on the underside of the charger. Also on the underside are three screws and a retractable power plug.

CIRCULAR SAW BLADES 

Irwin Industrial Tool Co. is recalling Classic Series Circular Saw Blade 3-Pack sold exclusively at Lowe's stores nationwide from October 2011 to November 2011. The saw blades can fall out of the bottom of the plastic packaging, posing a laceration hazard. 

This recall involves Irwin Classic Series 10-inch Circular Saw Blade Limited Promotion 3-Packs. The packaging is blue, orange and yellow and has the words "Irwin" and "Classic Series" on the front top left corner and "3 Circular Saw Blades" on the front lower left corner. Model number "ICSLD3PK" is located on the front top right corner.

SCUBA DIVING HOSES 

XS Scuba is recalling Miflex High Pressure Scuba Diving Hoses sold nationwide from May 2009 to April 2012. The diving hose can rupture reducing the available air supply to the diver, posing a drowning hazard. 

The hoses have MFX stamped on the hose's end fitting. They were sold as individual replacement gauge hoses and as cascade hoses and in the following kits and model numbers:

Miflex Two-Gauge Console HL300/HL300M

GIRLS' JACKETS 

Louise Paris is recalling "Me Jane" and "B-Hip Kids by Me Jane" girls' jackets with faux fur trim sold exclusively at Ross Stores nationwide from November 2011 to January 2012. The jackets have drawstrings at the waist that could become snagged or caught in small spaces or vehicle doors and pose an entanglement hazard. 

This recall involves jackets sold under the labels "Me Jane Kids" or "B-Hip Kids by Me Jane", and the labels bearing these names are found at the back neck of the garments.

PUMA JACKETS 

PUMA is recalling PUMA USA V-Konstruct Training Jacket with Pockets sold nationwide from January 2007 to January 2012. The jacket has a drawstring at the waist that has toggles and is not stitched to the back of the jacket. The drawstring could become snagged or caught in small spaces or vehicle doors and it poses an entanglement hazard.  

This recall involves the USA V-Konstruct Training Jacket with Pockets model numbers 65110201, 65110202, 65110203, 65110204 and 65110205. The model numbers are printed on the white care label that is stitched into a side seam towards the bottom of the jacket. The model numbers appear to the right of the words "(PVC Free)" and below the words "ART.NO." 

Consumers should return the product to the retailer to obtain a full refund.

PRESSURE TRANSDUCERS 

Gems Sensors is recalling Gems 3100 Pressure Detectors/Transducers sold nationwide from January 2006 to February 2012. The transducer can fail to accurately detect water pressure in a fire suppression sprinkler system. This could cause the sprinkler system to fail to activate and pump water to the sprinklers in the event of a fire. 

The transducer has "Gems Sensors & Controls," as well as the 18- digit part number, printed on a label affixed to the center of the transducer. Part numbers beginning with "3100" are included in this recall.

LENOVO COMPUTERS 

Lenovo is recalling additional Lenovo ThinkCentre M70z and M90z computers sold nationwide from May 2010 to March 2012. A defect in an internal component in the power supply can overheat and pose a fire hazard. 

The recalled all-in-one desktop computers, or PCs, are flat-panel monitors with the PC integrated into the monitor housing itself. The computer chassis has a matte black finish with the brand name "ThinkCentre" in the lower left hand corner of the monitor front. The recalled desktop model numbers, M90z and M70z, along with the serial number and manufacturing date code can be found at www.recalls.org

APRIL 26

GERBER INSTANT KNIVES 

Gerber Legendary Blades is recalling Gerber® Instant™ Knife sold nationwide from February 2012 to March 2012. The locking mechanism on the spring-assisted blade can fail to engage properly, causing the blade to fold during use, posing a laceration hazard. 

The recalled knives are spring-assisted clip knives with a black retractable 3.18" blade which can be folded into the textured black handle when the knife is not in use. The Gerber "sword and shield" trademark appears in silver, on one side of the blade, close to the handle. The name "Gerber®" is written in silver on the knife's pocket clip. This recall involves model numbers 30-000435 and 31-001101. The different model numbers refer to the same knife sold in a box (30-000435) and in a blister pack (31-001101). The model number is printed on the original packaging underneath the barcode..

TARGET SIPPY CUPS 

Target Corp. is recalling Home Bunny Sippy Cups sold exclusively at Target stores nationwide from February 2012 to April 2012. The ear on the bunny sippy cup can poke a child in the eye area while using the cup for drinking, posing an injury hazard. 

The recall involves two styles of Target Home Bunny Sippy Cups. The cups can be identified by imprints on the bottom: "TARGET 200020683" for pink and "TARGET 200020884" for the blue. 

Consumers should return the cups to any Target store for a full refund.

BABY RATTLES 

Manhattan Group is recalling Whoozit® Starry Time Rattles sold nationwide and in Canada from September 2011 to March 2012. The clear spheres on each end of the rattle can break, releasing small parts, posing a choking hazard. 

This recall involves Whoozit® Starry Time baby rattles. The plastic rattles feature three colored (orange, aqua blue and purple) stars stacked front to back between two clear spheres on a flexible stem. The name of the product is printed on the hang tag. 

Consumers should return the rattle to the store where purchased for a full refund.
