Crime Stopper report: park district theft over Easter weekend

[April 28, 2012]  Sometime over the Easter weekend, April 6-8, a skate bench was stolen from the Lincoln Park District's skate park. An unknown number of people unbolted the bench and removed it from the park. The bench is approximately 6 feet by 16 inches in dimension. The top of the bench has five to six pieces of plastic wooden slats. The steel frame is black and the plastic wood is brown. The bench is valued at around $1,700.

Anyone with any information concerning this or any other crime in the Lincoln and Logan County area is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 217-732-3000. Your information will be kept confidential and you may remain anonymous. If your information leads to the arrest of the person involved, Crime Stoppers will pay you a cash reward up to $1,000.
