Illinois country grain prices were
lower on Tuesday afternoon.
Technical trading at the Board of
Trade weakened grain futures.
In yesterday's Weekly Crop
Progress report, the USDA placed 5% of the Illinois corn
crop in good condition, with 24% fair and 71% in very poor to
poor condition.
The Illinois soybean crop placed
9% in the good range, with 35% fair and 56% in the very poor to
poor category.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids 7 to 13 cents lower at 7.86-8.11.
Soybean bids traded 13 to 15 cents
lower at 17.11-17.29.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were mostly 13 to 14 cents lower at 8.10-8.27.
Soybean bids were mostly 5 to 10
cents lower at 17.19-17.41.
Wheat bids were 26 to 27 cents
lower
at 8.63-8.71.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 13 to
18 cents lower at 8.01-8.42.
Soybean bids were mostly 10 to 13
cents lower at 17.21-17.37.
Wheat bids were mostly 26 to 27
cents lower at 8.57-8.88.
