Present were Harold Rayburn, who started the program, and his wife, Connie (cooling her feet). Joining the Rayburns were two other people who were also instrumental in the program's start and continuation: Dorrence Brucker (straw hat) was the assistant farm adviser, and Doris Higdon was the office secretary for the Logan County Extension.

Katie Lynn showed the reserve grand champion horse.

Also present and recognized for his commitment of 35 years was Les
Payne of Atlanta.

Payne and Tammy Lolling Buse served as co-superintendents. Payne called the events as Buse set up and coached each contestant entering the arena.

Buse, from Hartsburg, carries on family tradition, coming from a long
line of horsemen, with many of the awards sponsored by the Lolling family.
