4-H Swine: Gilt and Barrow shows

This year the number of hogs competing in the 4-H Swine shows was down considerably from the last few years.

However, even though low in number, the animals were still high in caliber, giving the judge quite a challenge when it came down to choosing the best of the best.

In the end, the grand champion gilt was a crossbred shown by Brandon Hickey.  Reserve went to Megan Meeker with her Duroc Gilt.

The grand champion barrow went to Jessica Awe, with Lukas Aylesworth taking the reserve.
