This year there are plenty of opportunities for Logan County cooks to show off their culinary skills at the Logan County Fair.

Wednesday was day one of the Dairy and Culinary judging.  This day was designated as being for all baked goods with the exception of cakes and candies. Cakes and candies will be judged on Friday.

The first-ever Logan County Fair "My Favorite Pie" contest will be on Saturday. In this contest, entrants will bring the ingredients for their favorite pie to the baking barn. They will then assemble their pie and bake it for judging. Entrants are also to bring a prepared pie with them that will be sold after the chili cook-off. The proceeds from the pie auction will go to the newly formed Logan County Fair Foundation.

The annual chili competition will also be on Saturday.

The Cake Classic is on Sunday. Once again, cakes must be baked at the fairgrounds and will be sold at the Cake Classic auction on Sunday evening.

Here are the results for the Wednesday judging of the Dairy and Culinary, except cakes and candies.
