Wednesday night Queen Dani and Miss Karson proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are not afraid to get a little messy and they are not afraid to get up close and personal with a pig.  They had the honor of helping grease the pigs with shortening before the pig scramble began.

In the scramble, the kids have to catch the pig, pick it up by its hind legs and "walk it" on its front legs. Once that is accomplished, the pig belongs to them.

Animals were numbered on their backs, and as they were caught, the kid who did the catching was officially recorded as the owner of that pig.
