-- Illinois State baseball has announced three fall high school
baseball camps, offering student-athletes a unique opportunity to train
under the guidance of the Redbird coaching staff. Intended for serious
high school baseball players looking to compete at the college level,
the camps are scheduled for Aug. 18 and 25 and Oct. 27.

Each one-day session includes a pro-style workout, game play,
position-specific instruction and informational sessions. Following
the camp, each participant will receive a comprehensive evaluation
formulated by the Redbird coaching staff. The full-day events will
take place at Duffy Bass Field, the recently renovated home ballpark
of ISU baseball. "The goal of our high school showcase camps is to
provide maximum exposure for the high school student-athlete," said
head coach Mark Kingston. "The day will be filled with high-level
instruction and one-on-one interaction. This is a great way to learn
more about the Redbird baseball program, while we in turn learn more
about each camper."
