[August 06, 2012]  SPRINGFIELD -- An exhibit of 150 photographs created by Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum volunteers may be seen beginning Thursday at the presidential library, and visitors are asked to vote for their favorite to help select images for a 2013 calendar.

More than 45 of the presidential library and museum's 500 volunteers have included their original photographs in the exhibit. Public votes Aug. 9-26 will select the top 20 images, and then independent judges will choose the final 12 images for a 2013 ALPLM Volunteer Services calendar to be offered for sale later this year.

Visitors may see the exhibit on the second floor of the presidential library every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and may also see the ongoing "Boys in Blue" Civil War exhibit in the library.
