The
annual Lincoln Art & Balloon Festival doesn't
just happen overnight. The event takes
months of planning on the part of the Lincoln/Logan County Chamber of Commerce. Once the
date arrives, it also takes hundreds of
volunteers to keep everything running smoothly
throughout the festival. This year the
chamber is sending out an urgent call for
volunteers. Read the article below to find

Romney has picked Wisconsin congressman Paul Ryan to be
his running mate, according to a Republican with
knowledge of the development. The newly minted GOP
ticket will appear together Saturday in Norfolk, Va., at
the start of a four-state bus tour to introduce the GOP
ticket to the nation.

of the Lincoln Community High School marching band were hard at
practice this week preparing for the upcoming marching season. Today is the day
when you can contribute to LCHS school
activities simply by test-driving a new Dodge vehicle. Stop by the high school parking lot between 10 a.m. and 1:30
p.m., drive a car, fill out a short survey, and LCHS will
receive a $20 gift from Dodge. Staff from Lincoln
