Memorial to host free seminar on common hand, elbow and shoulder problems

[August 18, 2012]  SPRINGFIELD -- A free seminar on common hand, elbow and shoulder problems will be presented on Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the Wedeberg Conference Center at Memorial Medical Center. The event is open to the public.

Springfield Clinic upper extremity specialists -- Mark Greatting, M.D., Chris Wottowa, M.D., and Jianjun Ma, M.D. -- will discuss disorders and treatments of the shoulder, elbow and hand. Topics that will be addressed are carpal tunnel, overuse syndrome and rotator cuff problems.

The event will conclude at 7 p.m.

Memorial Medical Center is at 701 N. First St. in Springfield. The Wedeberg Conference Center is on the hospital's lower level near its main entrance. Free parking is available in the hospital's visitor parking lots across from the main entrance at Miller and First streets. Valet parking is also available.
