Alma V. Cooper, 92, of Lincoln, died Monday, Aug. 20, 2012, at 4:40
a.m. at The Christian Village.

Lincoln-Alma V. Cooper, age 92, of Lincoln, IL, died
at 4:40 A.M. Monday August 20, 2012 at The Christian
Village.
Alma was born November 15, 1919 in Logan Co. IL, the
daughter of Martin and Anna Marie Groth Steffens.
She was united in marriage to Stanley Cooper on
December 13, 1940. He preceded her in death in 1967.

Alma is survived by sons, David (Jill) Cooper of
Springfield and Robert (Mary Ann) Cooper of Lincoln,
daughter, Linda Wolters of Pekin, 9 grandchildren, 8
great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 7
brothers and 3 great grandchildren.
Alma was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of
Lincoln.
Services will be Thursday August 23, 2012 at 11:00
A.M. at Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln with Rev.
Mark Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Union
Cemetery, Lincoln. Visitation will be one hour prior
to the service at the church on Thursday. Memorials
may be made to Zion Lutheran Church or The Christian
Village. Arrangements are by
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
