On Saturday, September 8th from 10am-3pm Lincoln Christian Church is hosting a Ladies Day Out. The theme for the day is “Back to being barefoot with God.” The day will include worship being led by Heather (Morris) Fulk, teaching by Lisa Womble who is an excellent conference speaker and life coach, and a ladies luncheon. Lisa will be speaking on developing a more intimate relationship with God. Come join the ladies for a day of fun, food, and fellowship. The registration fee will be $10.00. Lincoln Pregnancy Resource Center’s Rock 4 Life Event
5 hour Charity Rock-A-Thon will be held Saturday September 15th from 10am to 3pm at the Lincoln Christian University Restoration Hall, The Dowling Auditorium Entertainment and refreshments will be provided throughout the day and there will be a prize for the top rocker! Come and be a part!
We’re looking for Rockin’ Captains to organize Rockin’ Teams! Each team is made up of five Rockers (family, friends, co-workers, neighbors), one for each hour in the Rock 4 Life. Every Rocker in the team collects donations for the hour that they rock.

FREE LAUNDRY SOAP CLINIC
LifePointe Church of God and Logan County Love are teaming up to teach people how to make their own laundry soap, September 27, 2012. You can make approx 55 gallons for $20. We will also give away a gallon of soap to everyone who attends. This is only open to the first 40 people. To register call Tiffany at 217-737-9526.


Mark your calendars! The 20th annual Musical Offering for World Hunger will be Sunday, October 14th at 2:30 p.m. at Lincoln Christian Church, 204 N. McLean St. A free will offering will be taken and proceeds will go towards the 2012 Harvest of Talents.
