[August 28, 2012]  DELAVAN -- Kids attending the Delavan Fall Festival can enjoy carnival rides, games and a kiddie tractor pull.

Big savings on advance carnival tickets

Advance tickets for the carnival are available at First Farmer's State Bank and Heartland Bank in Delavan. Tickets will be on sale until noon Friday. Advance tickets offer the best value with savings off the regular-priced rides during the festival weekend.

The festival runs Friday evening through Monday.

Kids' games at fall festival

The fall festival will include some games for kids on Saturday between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. in the amphitheater area. Saturday at the festival is considered "Kid's Day."

Kids are invited to gather up their friends and come down to the park for the fun and games. Prizes will be awarded.

Shari Teal and her team are hosting the games this year.

The games are being sponsored by Pooh's Corner.

Kiddie tractor pull

Kids, have you been practicing your driving skills? If not, you'd better get started. You will have the opportunity to compete against school buddies at the Delavan Fall Festival.

The kiddie tractor pull is scheduled for Saturday.

Trophies and ribbons will be presented to the winners.

Scott Jeckel is chairing this event, and Jeckel Pork Farms is the sponsor.
