Lincoln College invites public to join them for 'Wicked' in St. Louis

[August 30, 2012]  Lincoln College invites the public to join them in St. Louis at the critically acclaimed musical "Wicked" in December.

The alumni relations and special events office at the college has an allotment of tickets for a show at the Fox Theatre in St. Louis on Dec. 29 at 2 p.m. Tickets are on sale now.

"Wicked" is an adaptation of the "The Wizard of Oz." The plot centers around the relationship of Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West, and Glinda, the Good Witch of the North.

"Wicked" has been named the best musical of the decade by Entertainment Weekly. The show has won numerous awards and smashed box-office records around the globe.

An early bird discount for ticket sales is in place until Sept. 5. With the discount, buyers get their ticket to "Wicked," round-trip transportation and lunch at The Old Spaghetti Factory in St. Louis for a total price of $150. Individuals also have the option of purchasing a single ticket and a meal from The Old Spaghetti Factory for $105 with the discount, but must provide their own transportation.

Tickets purchased after Sept. 5 are priced at $160 with transportation and meal included, or $115 for a single ticket and meal without transportation.
