LC coach Mark Tippett commented: "I was very encouraged by the effort our players gave this evening. We fought hard on every point, and as the match went on, it was obvious that our confidence is growing. In set three we showed that we are capable of dominating a match. Even though we took another loss, it is clear that we are heading in the right direction as a team."

Lincoln will take the holiday weekend off and be back in action on Wednesday for their first home match of the season.
