BEASON -- Charles L. Tomlinson, 71, of
Beason, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at 12:55 a.m. at Abraham
Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.

BEASON-Charles L. Tomlinson, 71, of Beason, IL died
at 12:55 a.m. on November 27, 2012 at Abraham
Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Lincoln.
Charlie was born on November 6, 1941 in Merced, CA,
the son of Thomas N. and Lola E. Helton Tomlinson.
He married Laura Dahmm on September 9, 1978. She
survives in Beason.
Charlie is survived by children: Lisa (Forrest) Bell
of Burley, ID; Lynda (John) Karr of Altus, OK; Will
(Mandy) Tomlinson of Athens, IL; Jason (Heather)
Tomlinson of Lincoln; Esther (Kyle Farmer) Tomlinson
of Elkhart, IL; Seven Grandchildren: Aime (John)
Cole; Walter (Kara) Reno; Brodee McCormick; Britt
Tomlinson; Boston Tomlinson; Henry Farmer; Cash
Tomlinson; four great grandchildren; two brothers:
Frank (Cheryl) Tomlinson, Carson City, NV; Tom
Tomlinson of Elko, NV; four nieces and four nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, parents
in-law, and one sister-in-law.

He retired from Remington Seed Co. He was a member
of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Lincoln.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on December 4,
2012 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Lincoln
with Rev. Clarence Mankin officiating. Visitation
will be Monday, Dec. 3 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the
church. Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to Illinois Junior Rodeo
Association or donor’s choice. Arrangements were
entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral
Home, Lincoln.
