In addition to the 11 county board members who were sworn in on Monday morning, five other officials were administered oaths. Three were elected: Mary Kelly as circuit clerk, Robert Thomas as coroner and first-term State's Attorney Jonathan Wright.

Wright served the office as an assistant for a number of years.

Following the public ceremony, Harris swore in two new assistant state's attorneys: Bradley M. Hauge and Seth Richard Mangold.

Hauge and Mangold put in their first day on the job on Monday. Wright said that due to the comparatively small size of the Logan County office, they will each get a wide variety of experiences.

Hauge just arrived, having served in Kane County as an assistant state's attorney. Mangold has been working in the office since last June. The two will be highly valued with the looming multi-count Gee family murder trials that are expected to begin around
June.

Zion Lutheran School students observed the ceremony and then toured the
courthouse.

 Following the ceremony, Logan County Clerk and Recorder Sally Litterly
invited everyone down to the county board meeting room for a reception.
