Community churches present 'A Night for Rejoicing'

Sunday morning at St. John and Sunday evening at Immanuel

[December 07, 2012]  A Christmas cantata, "A Night for Rejoicing!" will be presented Sunday, Dec. 9, at St. John United Church of Christ at 10:30 a.m. and at Immanuel Lutheran Church at 7 p.m.

The cantata includes familiar carols with audience participation, new arrangements, solos and descants. The cantata is conducted by the Rev. Rich Reinwald, with Laura Lee as accompanist.

Participants include voices from St. John UCC, Immanuel Lutheran, Zion Lutheran, First Baptist and Lincoln Christian Church in Lincoln and St. John's Lutheran Church, Hartsburg.

Following the evening presentation at Immanuel, there will be a fellowship hour with coffee and cookies.
