Friday night Lincoln College defeated the No. 8 team in the
nation, Southeastern Iowa, 60-55, as the Lynx came back to
outscore them 39-31 in the second half. Erika Spiller came off
the bench to score 13 points, followed by Cassidy Jennings and
Jessica Miller, who each tossed in 11 points. Spiller also
grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds.
With the win, the Lynx improved to 7-5.
On Saturday, the LC team played Black Hawk East in the 1 p.m.
game and won 58-37.
Ally Friday led the Lynx with 14 points, three assists and
three steals. Erika Spiller contributed 10 points, five rebounds
and five steals.
The Lynx improved to 8-5 heading into a month off, with their
next game on Jan. 9 at Moraine Valley.
