Lincoln Swish go 2 for 3 vs. Pekin

[December 10, 2012]  The fourth-grade Lincoln Swish went 2 for 3 over the weekend versus Pekin.

In Saturday's game, the Swish defeated Pekin 28-11. The Swish were led by Dylan Singleton with 16 points, one rebound, two blocks and four steals. Landon Hullinger added eight points, two rebounds and one steal. Steven Gleason contributed with a game-high 11 rebounds and four steals, and Karson Bonaparte chipped in nine rebounds and one steal. Tanner Strampp had two rebounds.

On Sunday, the Swish defeated Pekin 29-5 in the A game. Dylan Singleton led all scorers with 13 points, along with three steals and four assists. Landon Hullinger finished with eight points, four rebounds, one block and one steal. Karson Bonaparte added four points, four rebounds, two blocks and one assist. Steven Gleason had a game-high 11 rebounds, two points, one block and four steals. Keagan Ferguson added two points, and Logan McDonald had two rebounds.

Pekin defeated the Swish 23-16 in the B game. Kyle Fry led all scorers with eight points, along with one steal and three assists. Logan McDonald had a game-high six rebounds, along with four points, one block and one steal. Tanner Strampp had four points, three rebounds and two blocks. Griffin Bossingham had a game-high four assists, along with one rebound, one block and one steal.

The Lincoln Swish are currently 6-1.
