Jr. Wolverines spilt 4 games over the weekend

[December 10, 2012]  The West Lincoln-Broadwell Jr. Wolverines had several games over the weekend.

The third-grade team dropped a pair of games: to Pekin Boys and Girls Club on Saturday and at Illini Bluffs on Sunday. (Scores and stats not reported.)

The fourth-grade squad won 14-13 Sunday at Illini Bluffs.

Individual stats:

• Patrick McCraith: 12 points, 6 steals, 5 rebounds

• Lucas Konzyk: 4 steals, 6 rebounds

• Brody Whiteman: 2 points, 5 steals, 3 rebounds

The fifth-grade team won 33-6 Sunday at Illini Bluffs.

Individual stats:

• Justin Long: 11 points

• Kaden Froebe: 7 points

• Draden Poszgai: 8 points

• Payton Anderson: 4 points

• Kameron Whiteman: 3 points

The third- and fourth-grade teams will next play in Hopedale on Saturday. Then, along with the fifth-grade team and the Jr. Lady Wolverines, they will host Illini Bluffs on Sunday. Games will start with the third- and fourth-grade girls at WLB at 1 p.m., followed by the fifth- and sixth-grade girls, third-grade boys, fourth-grade boys, and concluding with the fifth-grade boys.
