Lady Eagles vs. Our Savior's Lutheran, Springfield

[December 12, 2012]  The Zion Lutheran Lady Eagles sixth- and eighth-grade basketball teams both won their games Monday with Our Savior's Lutheran School of Springfield.

The eighth-grade team reached the 20-win mark on the season by defeating Our Savior's Lutheran by the score of 30-13. Hailie Williams scored 20 points, including two 3-pointers. Others who scored for ZLS were Anna Sielaff with five, Danielle Burgrabe and Katie Hunsley with two each, and Lauren Canady with one. The team's record is now 20-3, with three regularly scheduled games to go.

In the sixth-grade game, Zion Lutheran won 18-6. Lane Prather with eight and Madelyn Koehler with six led the scoring for the Lady Eagles. Olga Harris and Grace Montgomery each added two points.
