MOUNT PULASKI -- Ralph C. Conklin, 77,
of Mount Pulaski, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, at 6:41 p.m., at
Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

Mt. Pulaski-Ralph C. Conklin, 77, of Mt. Pulaski
died at 6:41 pm on December 12, 2012 at Memorial
Medical Center, Springfield, IL.
Ralph was born on November 12, 1935 in Lincoln, IL
the son of Roy C. and Bertha M. Dority Conklin. He
married Lisa Sparks on May 8, 1987 in Mason City,
IL. She preceded him in death September 6, 2007. His
parents also preceded him in death.
He is survived by one sister: Dorothy Conklin of Mt.
Pulaski, IL.

Ralph was a Microbiologist at Lincoln Developmental
Center, Lincoln, IL. He was a member of St. John United
Church of Christ, Lincoln. He was an avid Chicago Bears
Football fan and had a real passion for cars.
Services for Ralph will be Monday, December 17 at 11:00 a.m.
at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln.
Visitation will be one hour prior (10-11:00 a.m.) to the
service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mason City
Cemetery, Mason City, IL. Memorials may be given to St. Jude
Children's Research Hospital or Illinois Food Bank.
