MOUNT PULASKI -- On Saturday, the Mount Pulaski State Trooper Deatherage Memorial 5K Race drew nearly 200 participants from all over Illinois.

A five-man honor flag unit of Illinois state troopers marched in to lead all the participants and onlookers in the Pledge of Allegiance. A prayer followed.
